Hi Everyone - I’m finally back and ready to dive in this week. It is quite refreshing to come back to work on this project with full force.
This week:
A current status update for the week
The magic of pipelines
A/B test update
What we are working on
Weekly Update

This week we added 94 subscribers, down 15 from last week. Nothing really new here. We are still prioritizing revenue per subscriber over getting subs at a lower cost.
We had a nice little push of sales on our business directory listings and of our products at the end of last week. Unfortunately, we have no clue what drove these. We will be reaching out to our customers to follow up and hopefully we will find something!
We have two big initiatives coming up. (1) Our top connectors list. This has been in the works for a while, but it takes a lot of work. We are in the process of reaching out to all the connectors to make sure their details are correct on the blurbs we wrote about them. (2) Migrating our products to lemon squeezy. This will dramatically reduce friction of purchases. Hopefully this is a game changer for us.
The magic of pipelines
I’ve been doing some (free) work with a local non-profit helping them with their newsletter. I did some consulting on their strategy as well as their monetization approach.
Going in, I thought I was going to be doing a lot of teaching. As it turns out, I was the one that learned some compelling lessons. The team at this non-profit uses mailerlite and they send html emails out via the MCP (this basically means that they can connect their AI directly to their email provider… all allow this now).
This was really fascinating to me. First, writing the emails in html gives you tremendous customization over the template and the visual. Second, the mcp makes writing from your AI really easy.
Historically, this was difficult because HTML can be kinda a pain to work with. The email editors were preferred because editing the HTML was difficult comparatively. With AI, this is inverting.
I’m going to experiment with this for the week and let you know how it goes!
A/B test update
The test has concluded. The landing screen that we had originally effectively tied with one of our other versions. I’m going to keep it as is for now.
The next test I’m going to run is on our products. Is it better to just show 1, 3, or all the products to new users signing up for the newsletter?
Next Week’s Initiatives
What we're working through this week:
